Due to inclement weather on the original date, MOMS Club of Cedar Lake/Lowell has rescheduled its third anniversary open house for 10 a.m. March 7 at the Lake County Public Library's Cedar Lake branch, 10010 W. 133rd Ave. All moms and children are welcome. A brief business meeting will be followed by snacks, games, and crafts for the children. MOMS Club is a nonprofit support group for stay-at-home moms and their children. Founded in February, 2005, the Cedar Lake/Lowell chapter supports nearly 30 women and 50 children in Cedar Lake, Hanover Township, Lowell and Lake Dalecarlia.
