There is a well known adage which says, Seeing is Believing. God realization is also no different. The first step to realization is the opening of the divine eye. Only after we have the celestial vision through the third eye does the worship of the Divine begin. Ordinary mortals became realized souls only on meditating on the divine light through the eye of spirit. In Brahadaranyaka Upanishad, Yajnavalkya tells his wife Maitreyi, "It is the soul that should be seen, heard of, reflected on and meditated upon. Verily, by the seeing of, by the hearing of, by the thinking of, by the understanding of the soul, all is known". In Paingala Upanishad, Paingala, the pupil, approaches Yajnavalkya and questions him on meditation, the nature of release. He was told to meditate on the light form of Brahman for salvation through the divine eye (in Sanskrit it is called the Divya Chakshu), which was imparted to him.

Chinese women ease past U.S. at table tennis worlds
GUANGZHOU, China, Feb. 26 (Xinhua) -- China's star-studded women's team kept up their winning streak with a 3-0 win over the United States in the fourth round of the world team table tennis championships here on Tuesday. It was the first defeat the U.S. suffered at the competition in the southern Chinese city of Guangzhou, after cruising over Russia, Croatia and Sweden. China's Wang Nan, one of the sport's most decorated players with 20 world titles, displayed the sangfroid of a true champion and dwarfed 20th-ranked Gao Jun, who the Chinese women said was a strong rival. The 29-year-old veteran took the first match 11-4, 11-8, 11-8, seeming unaffected by her shock defeat to a much lower ranked player from DPR Korea on Monday.
